I had never been to Le Mans before, so I wasn’t sure what it would be like, but it turned out to be one of the best parties I’ve ever been to.We started with go-karting, which was definitely the highlight of the day. After putting on helmets and listening to the safety briefing, we got into our karts and lined up on the track. As soon as the race started, I felt a rush of adrenaline. The karts were faster than I expected, and the track was designed with lots of corners and straights, which made it really exciting. At first, I was careful, but after a few laps I got more confident and started racing harder. Everyone was competitive but also laughing and cheering, which made it even more fun.After that, we went into the laser tag arena. The dark room was lit up with neon lights, music, and sound effects, making it feel like stepping into a video game. The game was all about teamwork, strategy, and quick reactions. I enjoyed sneaking around corners, finding cover, and working with friends to tag the other team. There were lots of funny moments, and by the end everyone was tired but smiling.We finished off with food and birthday cake, which gave us time to relax and talk about our favourite parts of the day. The atmosphere was great, and Jaiden looked really happy. Overall, the party was amazing, and Le Mans was the perfect place for it. Very polite. 12 months later and all of the feedback that I provided has been reviewed and implemented. Updated safety video which is now more explicit in relation to penalties etc, a more lenient but just as safe track penalties, better directions from staff and the list goes on. My experience this year (10 of us) was much improved and we all enjoyed it. Well done Le Mans and thankyou for listening.Unfortunately I did not enjoy the experience at all. You don’t get the time results immediately and have to wait for email. They are able to control the speed of the karts and if you go over the yellow line to pass someone you get speed limited for half a lap as I did.
