Bookings

Bookings can be made over the phone or online. Some offers are online exclusives and cannot be honoured in-house or over the phone.

Payment Terms

Packages have their own payment terms. Please refer to below for the unique terms.

No minimum number of participants packages ie. “Arrive and Drive” – Full payment at the time of booking

Kids Parties – 8-person deposit at the time of booking, remaining balance one week prior to the event. If the booking is made with less than one week’s notice, full payment is required.

There is a minimum charge of 8 x kids for a single group.

Race Packages – 6-person deposit at the time of booking, remaining balance one week prior to the event. If the booking is made with less than one week’s notice, full payment is required.

There is a minimum charge of 10 drivers for a single group.

Christmas Packages – 10-person deposit at the time of booking, remaining balance one week prior to the event. If the booking is made with less than one week’s notice, full payment is required.

Cancellations/Changes

All deposits and payments are non-refundable. 

To change a booking contact Le Mans via phone (8787 8741) or email (customerservice@lemansgokarts.com.au). Packages have different notice requirements. Please refer to below for the different requirements.

a) Booking reschedule

Guests must provide at least 24 hours notice to reschedule a booking. If less than 24 hours notice is provided, the payment will be forfeited.

b) Number of Participants 

i) Decrease 

Guests must provide at least 24 hours notice regarding participant number decrease(s) to receive compensation. Compensation includes a credit to the amount of the unused activities. This credit can be used on the day for food/beverage or activities (subject to availability). If guests do not wish to use the credit on the day, it is valid for up to 12 months. 

ii) Increase

Le Mans cannot guarantee availability if guests would like to increase their numbers on the day; or after the booking has been made. 

 

Kids Parties/Race Packages/Christmas Packages 

a) Booking Reschedule

Groups must provide at least 7 day’s notice to reschedule a booking. If less than 7 day’s notice is provided, the payment will be forfeited.

b) Number of Participants 

i) Decrease 

Group packages must meet their minimum number requirements (includes double groups or higher). Providing they meet minimum requirements, they can be compensated for reduced numbers if 24 hours notice is provided. Compensation includes a credit to the amount of the unused activities. This credit can be used on the day for food/beverage or activities (subject to availability). If guests do not wish to use the credit on the day, it is valid for up to 12 months. If the minimum number requirements are not met, unfortunately, compensation cannot be given. 

ii) Increase

Le Mans cannot guarantee availability if guests would like to increase their numbers after the booking has been made. It is strongly recommended that guests provide maximum numbers to assist with the planning of their event. 

iii) Double Groups (includes anything larger than a single group)

Double groups (or higher) must be confirmed one week prior to the event. Once confirmed, they will not be compensated for less than the minimum number requirement (for the double, triple etc group). 

Le Mans’ activities have unique requirements. Guests must meet all requirements to participate in the activity. If guests have booked for the incorrect activity, Le Mans will endeavour to transfer the booking to an appropriate available activity. Guests will not be entitled to a refund or credit for a cancelled reservation due to a booking error.

Arrival Time

Le Mans’ activities have their own unique arrival time requirements. It is the responsibility of the guest to be aware of their reservation time. 

Any guest who arrives late may miss out or have a reduced experience. Le Mans cannot delay reservations for late arrivals if it has an adverse impact on other guests or the day’s operations. 

Guests will not be entitled to a refund or credit for cancelled reservations due to late arrival.

Public Holiday Surcharge

Public Holidays incur an additional 15% public holiday surcharge. 

General Terms

  • Le Mans is a cashless business
  • All visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of their visit at the venue. 
  • Unless specified, activities are non-exclusive and you may share with other members of the public
  • All scheduled times are subject to change/delay, Le Mans may alter the order of your activities

Go Karting

Attire

Regardless of kart type, all guests must wear enclosed-toe footwear. All long hair must be tied up, and no loose clothing is to be worn ie. scarves. Helmets must be worn by all participants; therefore, turbans, hijabs or any headwear that conflicts with the health and safety of the helmet fit, unfortunately, will not be allowed. As Go Karting is an outdoor activity, please dress appropriately for the weather (shorts are permitted).

Photo ID

Photo ID is required for all participants over 18 ie. passport, driver’s license etc, this may be requested by staff on the day. 

Fitness, Alcohol and Drugs

Guests must have a BAC of 0.00. Driver’s may be asked to undertake a breathalyzer on the day. Unfortunately, any guest with a pre-existing condition is unable to participate in any activity. 

Super Karts

Age Requirement: 18+ (or 16+ with a valid Learner’s Permit which must be brought on the day and sighted by staff)

Minimum Height Requirement: 150cm

Sprint Karts

Age Requirement: 12+ 

Minimum Height Requirement: 140cm

Rookie Karts

Age Requirement: 8-12 years-old 

Minimum Height Requirement: 120cm

Twin Karts

Driver

Age Requirement: 18+ 

Minimum Height Requirement: 140cm

Maximum Height Requirement: 188cm

Passenger

Age Requirement: 4+ 

Minimum Height Requirement: 100cm

Unfortunately, it is not possible to provide maximum height and weight restrictions as every guest is different. 

Pre-Existing Medical Conditions
Go Karting is not suitable for persons with the following conditions: 
– Pregnancy 
– Epilepsy
– Fractured bone
– Sprain requiring supportive bandage
– Recent Surgery or illness
– High Blood Pressure 
– Heart Condition
– Back pain
– Pre Existing Injury
 
This is not an exhaustive list so please email us on info@lemansgokarts.com.au to check whether go karting is suitable for you. Formal medical clearance may be required for some conditions.

 

Laser, Mini Golf, Virtual Reality, Arcadia

Laser

Minimum Age: 6+

Le Mans may use its discretion and allow younger kids to participate. 

 

Mini Golf + Arcadia

All ages

 

VR

Minimum Age: 10+ 

Not all games have a minimum age of 10.

Fitness, Alcohol and Drug Tolerance

Guests cannot participate in Mini Golf, Arcadia, Virtual Reality or Laser if they are displaying signs of intoxication. For Go Karting, drivers must have a BAC of 0.00 and may be asked to undertake a breathalyser. Drug use will strictly not be tolerated and guests who are suspected to be under the influence of drugs will be unable to participate. 

The activities at Le Mans require physical fitness, skill and mental alertness. Unfortunately, guests with a pre-existing condition are unable to participate in any activity. 

 

Credit Card Request

Le Mans reserves the right to sight any credit/debit card used for an online transaction. Failure to produce a card, may result in the cancellation of your reservation. 

 

Weather 

Le Mans runs outdoor Go Kart tracks and will operate in most weather conditions. 

Guests should be aware that by booking Go Karting, they acknowledge the risk associated with booking an outdoor activity and the possibility of racing in varying weather conditions ie. rain, heat etc. Reschedules made due to change of mind, including weather reasons, will result in payments/deposits being forfeited. 

 

Cancellation by Le Mans

Weather deemed unsafe by the Duty Manager and/or Track Supervisor on the day ie. lightning, hail or torrential rain; may result in the temporary cease of Go Karting or cancellation of your booking. In this case, guests can reschedule their booking to another date or will be issued with a credit. Credits will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Unfortunately, refunds will not be issued.

 

Catering & Food

Le Mans has a cafe on premises which serves fresh sandwiches, irresistible coffee, famous burgers and cult faves like pies, sausage rolls, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, hot chips, chicken wings and ice-creams. Catering for Kids Party Packages + Race Packages must be ordered and finalised one week prior to the event. Unfortunately, catering changes on the day are unlikely to be accommodated.  

Go Karting Arrive & Drive and non-hosted packages unfortunately cannot pre-order catering. Whilst every effort is made to have your favourite food ready, it is subject to availability on the day. 

Variations of catering included in packages ie. gluten free or food upgrades, may result in an additional charge. 

Unfortunately, external food/drink cannot be brought into the venue ie. hot food, drinks, platters. The only exception is birthday cakes; due to space constraints, ice-cream cakes cannot exceed a large dinner plate. 

 

Promotions

Le Mans Entertainment will often run promotions via our social media pages, website, email marketing lists, in-venue etc.
