FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Mini Karts are designed for younger drivers aged 4 to 8 years. They’re ideal for kids experiencing go karting for the first time and wanting a fun, confidence-building introduction to racing.

Yes. Mini Kart sessions are fully supervised by trained staff, with controlled speeds and clear on-track rules. Our electric karts are smooth and easy to handle, helping kids feel comfortable while learning the basics in a safe, structured environment.

Yes. Kids drive the Mini Karts themselves, but always under close supervision. Staff are positioned around the track and adjust the experience to suit each child’s confidence and ability.

That’s completely normal. Mini Karts are designed for first-time drivers, and our team supports kids at their own pace. There’s no pressure to go fast, and confidence usually builds quickly once they’re on track.

Absolutely. Parents and guardians are welcome to watch from designated viewing areas and cheer on their young racers throughout the session.

Speeds are set to be age-appropriate and controlled. If a child shows strong awareness and confidence, they may enjoy a little more pace, but safety and comfort always come first.

All guests must wear enclosed-toe footwear. All long hair must be tied up, and no loose clothing is to be worn ie. scarves. Helmets must be worn by all participants; therefore, turbans, hijabs or any headwear that conflicts with the health and safety of the helmet fit, unfortunately, will not be allowed. As Go Karting is an outdoor activity, please dress appropriately for the weather (shorts are permitted).

We recommend comfortable clothing. Helmets, water resistant coveralls (provided in the event of rain), and safety gear are provided.

Mini Karts run on an outdoor track that operates in all weather conditions, including rain. Wet weather often adds to the excitement, and sessions continue unless conditions are deemed unsafe.

Each race is up to 10 minutes. Drivers can purchase multiple races online at the time of booking.

Our most popular offering is 2 x races as kids use the first race to get used to the Go Kart and then the second race is when they can improve on their lap times!

Yes, as long as they fall within the Mini Kart age range and meet the requirements. Staff will ensure all drivers are comfortable and evenly matched on track.

As kids grow in confidence and meet age and height requirements, many progress to our Rookie Karts, which offer the next level of racing experience.

Unfortunately, parents cannot race with their kids on the Mini Karts. If they want to race together, parents can take their kids in a Twin Kart on one of our bigger tracks. The parent will be the driver, whilst the child is the passenger.
